How much time will I need to set up my

Does having a Mobile
Website require a .mobi domain name? |
| NO You are not required
to use a .mobi domain name any Domain can be used. It is recommended to use a .mobi domain for a mobile website, to communicate to the end user that the site is mobile friendly, and to assist search engines to recognize it as a mobile site. |

Can I have My Mobile
Website with a third level domain? |
| Yes. A Common
Practice is to use a Sub Domain of your Primary
Domain. As an Example: Lets say your Business
Website is: example.com you may use
mobile.example.com for your Mobile
Website. When using the Redirection script your
visitors will never know they have been redirected
to a sub domain. |

I already own a .mobi domain name, can I use it instead of getting another one with
DomainsAtCost? |
| Yes. Your domain provider can easily help you point your .mobi domain to your
Mobile Website site. Just like hosting any domain
you would simply update the Name Servers at your
Registrar to point to the required Name Servers
(provided in your confirmation email upon completion
of your Mobile Website setup). |

What happens if the expiration date for my domain is different to the one for my mobil site? |
| Your Mobile Website
service is dependent on the availability of the
domain to reach the site: therefore if the domain
expires, your Mobile Website cannot be reached. It
is necessary to renew the domain, or use another
domain to reach your Mobile Website. |

If I change the source site to a different site, how quickly is this reflected on the .mobi site? |
| The source site content is only used to populate the site the first time. Therefore changing the source site to a different site will have no effect, since the user would have confirmed their settings via the Setup Assistant. If they have not confirmed their settings, then content from the new source site will be available in minutes. |

Can I delete the domain name but keep
my Mobile Website? |
| Yes you can, provided you remember to specify another domain for your
Mobile Site to keep it reachable. |

Do I have to renew my
Mobile Website at the same time as the domain? |
| No, they do not have to be renewed together, but for the
Mobile service to be reachable, the domain has to be current. |

How soon is a Mobile Website live after the service is activated? |
| Usually within 24 hours. Your
Mobile Site should be open for business once we send you
your setup confirmation email. Depending on the domain you are using, there might be a certain delay as a result of how quickly the nameservers´ information propagates on the Internet. If using an existing domain or a 3rd level domain then propagation delay is up to
48 hours. |

Are changes made on a source site
(my Regular Website) reflected on the Mobile Website? |
| When content on a source site is modified, which is linked from the mobile site, changes are reflected immediately. Changes to content such as phone numbers and addresses are not reflected if they have been confirmed as correct via the Setup Assistant. You will need to modify that information manually in the Setup Assistant which is easy to do. |
